Abcum Ltd is a software company based in London and Kent. We build email marketing software and web-to-print and e-commerce platforms for customers and private/public sector organisations. Abcum's approach is to enable people to communicate a message in the most effective way possible - by eye-catching design, easy-to-use systems, and down-to-earth terminology.
Abcum's aim is to create systems which are very easy-to-use. Anyone (including the least computer literate) can access them, as a result of their technical development and their intuitive interface. While we recognise the important contribution of geeks and techies, we are also aware that there is often a huge divide between the builders and users of computer systems, and also between the design community and the rest of the world. Therefore Abcum tries to identify with users who may be oblivious to both the technical side of systems and to design, but have a need for a simple-to-use business-like system to help them in their work.
Abcum is a family business which packs a punch. With complementary skills covering pixel-perfect design, development and editing, the team is ably supported and guided by non-executive directors with long experience in all aspects of commerce.
Jaime Morgan Hitchcock is a creative director with an art-history background, who believes in innovative and appealing design with a modern twist. A co-founder of Abcum, Jaime is a perfectionist who prides himself on his adaptability and ability to see and respond to opportunities in many different areas, all of which excite him. Jaime's prime focus is to cater to his clients' needs.
Tobie Morgan Hitchcock, a co-founder of Abcum, is a software developer who thinks outside the box. With a background in film production and editing, Tobie's skills lie in marrying the demands of business people for products that are multi-functional and efficient but also very simple to use and pleasing to the eye. Never content with the status quo, Tobie is constantly seeking better ways to deliver Abcum's products, and incorporating the latest developments in this rapidly-moving industry.
